weekly read – Can’t you sleep little bear

This week’s weekly read also comes from Toast camp. Each night we have a bedtime story and prayers together (after the pillow fight!). So Can’t You Sleep Little Bear by Martin Waddell was an obvious choice.

Big Bear settles Little Bear into bed and sits down to read his book. But before long Little Bear is up as he is scared of the dark. Big Bear finds a small, medium and large lantern but none take away Little Bear’s fear of the dark. So Big Bear takes him outside and shows him the brightest of night lights – the moon.
A tale of love, trust and the things that make us feel safe. A great read before bedtime anywhere – even in a tent!
