In the summer I wrote a post about reframing some of the non faith festivals in a way to explore faith.
In the summer we began with the summer solstice so yesterday we celebrated the winter solstice.
The advent activity calendar said ‘Today is the shortest day of the year so lets make lanterns to shine in the dark’.
We talked about needing to feel safe and loved and who makes feel like this.
The boys built a den to cosy up in.
We made the lanterns and lit candles.
Early baths, Strictly final and snuggling on the sofa.
For us it was about family, faith and being cosy!
