Last Sunday we set off on a few days of adventures and meeting old friends. Loads to tell you so let’s start with day one.
We had a long journey to Windsor and wanted to avoid too many motorway services. So we found a National Trust property just off the M42.
Baddesley Clinton was a great find. There are lakes, a walled garden, restaurant and the house. But as this was a ‘pit stop’ we spent most of the time in the gardens making dens, playing games and adding to our 50 things. An added bonus was the great second hand book shop!
Everyone had a great time, ran off loads of energy and all in a beautiful setting. So much better than a services stop!
