We have signed up for this year’s Library Summer Reading Challenge again. This year it is Creepy House!
On Wednesday after school we collected our Creepy House bags and charts to record the boys reading on. Over the summer they have to read 6 books borrowed from the library and for every 2 they read they get a special Creepy House reward (last year there were stickers, keyrings, wristbands, medals and certificates).
As we arrived at the library we bumped into some friends and the boys soon persuaded them to join in too.
It encourages reading – gives them something to do! – and supports the libraries. What’s not to love!?
