Baby T is 15 weeks now and obsessed with her feet. During the hot weather I would wake in the morning to find her 2 feet sticking up in the air over the top of the Moses basket. Her current favourite trick is to pull her socks off, which has the boys in fits of laughter.
To encourage her play I hunted out some toy socks I made for G when he was a baby. As soon as I popped them on she began throwing her feet in the air and playing – she loved them!
To make them I simply got an old pair of socks which were a little too big. Onto them I sewed a soft toy. For the ones I made for G I used some finger puppets which IKEA sold very cheaply at the time. But any small soft toy would do the trick (make sure there are no small bits). I sewed them very securley and then popped them onto the baby and let them play. Great fun!
