Christmas Wreath

We have been housebound here for a few days – both the boys have had a bad sickness bug which seems to be taking ages to go. So we’ve been trying to fit in a bit of Christmas making.

G had a school competition to make a Christmas wreath so he and S had a go and sent it in with a friend. It was simple and effective so here’s how to make it.

1. Cut out a ring shape using strong card e.g. a cereal box or cardboard box.

2. Cut out small holes evenly spaced around the ring. A single hole punch is ideal for this.

3. Cover and decorate with Christmas materials e.g. fabric, shiny papers, ribbons, wool, string, tinsel, by threading through the holes and tying to make bows or knots.

Having trouble loading images at present so will add one later!
