Star shakers

One of the really popular activities at TOAST! on Sunday was to make a star shaker (a bit like a snow storm). Warning though it gets really messy!

1. Half fill a clean plastic bottle or jar with water.

2. Add a selection of sequins, glitter, small stars, snowflakes etc.

3. Add 2 teaspoons of glycerin (available from pharmacists).

4. Top up with water. Replace the lid and tape in place.

5. Shake!
