Just finishing off the last bits of admin in the office before a week off – can’t wait.
As I was sorting I came across this quote about children and holidays.
‘The vast majority of children would prefer to spend their holidays just being with their parents rather than going on expensive trips, and a picnic is their top entertainment along with playing outside, according to a survey of 5 to 11 year olds by the charity Dad Talk. A spokesman for the charity said “It’s a nice surprise that you don’t have to spend lots of money”.’

So this half term my challenge is to spend as much time as I can with the boys – to play outside – and maybe, if the weather is dry enough, to go for a picnic.
Maybe a bit of ‘extreme picnicing’ is needed!
